Brass check valve with 5/4" external thread is used to maintain the water column at the pump, thus protecting not only the pump but also the electrical power source. This valve prevents backflow of water in the distribution of drinking and utility water, for example in a well.
The construction is fully cast with a stainless steel spring and the working position of the flap is arbitrary. The set is firmly bonded and consists of a brass check valve, a brass sleeve, and a plastic adapter for pipe with an outer diameter of 32 mm. It is a complete set ready for direct connection to a submersible pump.
