The DAB KVC 50/30 T Y17 (code 60183599) is a vertical multistage centrifugal pump by DAB Pumps with six stages and a three-phase electric motor. It is designed for pumping clean water in distribution systems and for supplying small and medium-sized buildings. It is used in automatic pressure booster stations, for filling tanks, in agricultural irrigation systems, in fire-fighting and washing systems and for conveying cooling water.

Pump construction

In the KVC series, the suction and delivery ports are in line and have a G 1 1/4" thread with a metal insert in the technopolymer base body. Impellers, diffusers and bearing housing are made of technopolymer, while the pump casing, suction rings and mechanical seal wall are AISI 304 stainless steel. The AISI 303 steel shaft is sealed by a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. All parts are made of non-corroding materials.

• head 69.8 m at zero flow, 43.1 m at 2.4 m³/h and 23.9 m at 3.3 m³/h (55 l/min)

Operating conditions

The pumped liquid must be clean, free of solid and abrasive particles, non-viscous, non-aggressive and similar to water, at a temperature of 0 to +40 °C; the ambient temperature must not exceed +40 °C. The pump is installed permanently in a vertical position with the motor at the top and must be completely filled with water before start-up. The electrical connection may only be made by a qualified electrician – the motor must be protected against short circuit and overload and connected via an external switch.
