IVAR.T 5012 (code 501176) is a liquid-filled thermostatic head that does not respond to the temperature directly at the valve, but to the temperature at the sensor location. The sensor is connected to the head by a 2 m long capillary tube, so it can be placed where the temperature needs to be monitored. The head is screwed onto a valve or an insert with a connecting thread M30 × 1.5 and smoothly closes or opens the flow according to the measured temperature.

IVAR offers this head as an optional accessory for the mixed boiler module VARIMIX IVAR.VAR 21 with a regulating thermostatic insert. The head thus controls the module's insert according to the temperature measured by the sensor, without the need for electrical power.
