Product detailed description

The PNI MW 18-12S is a valve-regulated lead-acid AGM battery with a nominal voltage of 12 V and a capacity of 18 Ah. Its main purpose is standby power for security, intruder alarm and video surveillance systems, though it also works as a regularly recharged power source for stand-alone or portable devices.

After installation it requires no servicing. Gases released while charging recombine into water inside the sealed casing, so there is nothing to refill. Because the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre mats, the battery can be installed in virtually any orientation.

Measuring 181 × 77 × 167 mm and weighing 5.25 kg, it is easy to move around. The photos show red caps on the positive terminal and a black lid carrying the barcode.

Connection and operation

The operating temperature range is −20 to +50 °C. Connection is via M5 screw terminals. Recharge it using a charger or power supply intended for 12 V lead-acid AGM batteries, as specified by the manufacturer.
