Mineral substrate FLORIA 5 l

Product detailed description

The mineral substrate FLORIA is ideal for growing flowering and non-flowering indoor plants in the interior. It creates inhospitable conditions for the growth and development of mosses, molds, and fungi, thus contributing to a healthier root system of your plants.

• Good aeration and drainage: crushed expanded clay minerals ensure that roots receive enough oxygen and excess water drains away quickly.
• Water retention: porous pumice retains water in thin capillary pores and releases it to the plants as needed.
• Nutrient retention: zeolite binds supplied nutrients within its structure, limits their leaching, and gradually releases them for plant needs.

The heavier mineral substrate is intended for growers who deliberately want to grow plants without peat.

Composition: zeolite, pumice, and mineral grit from volcanic rocks.

Usage:

• Use the substrate for transplanting and growing indoor plants; it is also suitable for hydroponic containers.
• When transplanting, cover the drainage holes with gravel. Place a thin layer of substrate at the bottom of the pot, insert the plant, cover with substrate, and gently press down.
• After transplanting, water the plant with a spray — this will wash off dust from the surface and enhance the colorful decorative appearance of natural materials.
• Begin regular fertilization approximately 3 weeks after transplanting. For example, liquid fertilizer FLORIA PREMIUM Interior is suitable for fertilizing.
• Water plants regularly according to species requirements, size, temperature, and light levels.
• In hydroponic cultivation, prepare a nutrient solution using appropriate fertilizer and replenish the water level by watering.
