When the indoor unit of a split air conditioner cannot drain by gravity, the MW Power ACMW-PC-12B pump takes the condensate away. It lifts water up to 10 m, delivers up to 18 l/h at zero head and draws just 3 W. The tank holds 35 ml, the manufacturer quotes 19 dB measured at 1 m, and the pump works at ambient temperatures from 0 to +50 °C.

Choosing the right pump
The manufacturer recommends the PC-12B for air conditioners of about 2.6 to 3.5 kW and, with a small amount of condensate, also for 5.0 kW units; for 5.0 to 7.0 kW the stronger PC-36B leaves more reserve. What really matters is the volume of condensate and the height the water must be pumped to. Condensate is usually drained with a 16 mm SKR hose (18 mm on large commercial units).
