Sold only in full cartons (168 pcs). The carton contains 168 tubes of 75 g each.
Sealing compound NAZAR with flax fibers is based on the universal NAZAR compound, to which the manufacturer has added 1 % by weight of finely cut flax fibers. When tightening the joint, the fibers settle into the thread grooves and help to seal it – the fibers are already part of the compound.
It is intended for metal threaded joints in heating and industrial systems and in water distribution systems that do not supply drinking water. The compound does not dry out, protects the threads from corrosion, and facilitates later disassembly. The manufacturer specifies an operating temperature of −30 °C to +140 °C and a maximum pressure of 25 bar.
Warning: the compound is not suitable for drinking water systems. For drinking water, use the universal NAZAR compound without fibers.
Installation procedure
Clean the thread, apply the compound with fibers to it, and tighten the joint according to the manufacturer’s instructions for pipes and fittings. Store the tube tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place, away from food.
