NAZAR sealing paste with flax fibres is based on the NAZAR universal paste, to which the manufacturer adds 1 % by weight of finely chopped flax fibres. As the joint is tightened, the fibres settle into the thread grooves and help to seal it – the fibres are already part of the paste.
It is intended for metal threaded joints in heating and industrial installations and in lines carrying water that is not used for drinking. The paste does not dry out, protects threads against corrosion and makes later dismantling easier. The manufacturer specifies an operating temperature of −30 °C to +140 °C and a maximum pressure of 25 bar.
Please note: the paste is not intended for drinking-water installations. For drinking water, use NAZAR universal paste without fibres.
Assembly procedure
Clean the thread, apply the fibre paste and tighten the joint according to the pipe and fitting manufacturer's instructions. Keep the tube tightly closed in a dry, ventilated place away from food.

How does it differ from the universal paste?
It contains flax fibres and withstands higher pressure (25 instead of 20 bar), but it is not intended for drinking water.
