Universal sealing paste NAZAR is a Polish plumbing material for sealing metal threaded connections. It is used together with hemp sealing rope: the paste penetrates into the fibers, facilitates winding, and creates a tight yet removable connection. It is suitable for both internal and external water, gas, and central heating supply systems.

The paste does not dry out or harden, so the connection remains flexible and can be loosened after years without force. At the same time, it protects the threads from corrosion. The manufacturer specifies operating temperatures from −30 °C to +140 °C and pressure up to 20 bar.

For water supply systems, the paste has a hygiene certificate from the Polish National Institute of Public Health PZH No. B.BK.60110.1388.2024. The condition is to remove any excess paste from surfaces in contact with water and to thoroughly flush the system after installation.

How to use the paste

Wind the hemp rope onto the cleaned thread, evenly apply the paste, and tighten the connection according to the manufacturer's instructions for pipes and fittings. After use, tightly close the tube and store it in a dry place, away from food – the manufacturer does not limit the shelf life when stored properly.
