The compression T-piece 20 × 20 × 20 mm is used to create a branch in the distribution from a multi-layer PEX-AL-PEX pipe with an outer diameter of 20 mm. All three outlets have the same dimensions, so you can divide the main branch into two directions without changing the diameter – for example, when connecting a bathroom, kitchen or utility room from one distribution branch.

The body is made of nickel-plated brass, which is resistant to corrosion and easy to install. The fitting is joined by compression – after compression, the connection is strong and permanently sealed, without the need for sealants or additional sealing. The compression rings have inspection holes through which you can check during installation that the pipe is inserted all the way to the stop. The fitting is covered by a 10-year manufacturer warranty.

Installation and use

Cut the pipe perpendicularly, remove the burrs and calibrate the end using suitable tools. Then insert it into the fitting collar until it reaches the stop and check its position through the inspection hole. Compress the connection using compression pliers or a crimper with U-profile jaws for the size 20 mm. The compressed connection is non-releasable, so before compression, check the direction of the branch and the position of the fitting.

For brass fittings of the PEX-AL-PEX system, a hygiene certificate from the State Health Institute (PZH) has been issued for use in drinking water installations. A copy of the certificate can be found in the related files with the product. Before putting the installation into operation, flush it with water in such a volume that the water in it is completely replaced.
