PNI AP800D-4 is an automation kit for self-supporting sliding gates with a weight up to 800 kg. The drive uses a 350 W motor that generates a force of 1100 N and is powered from a 230 V supply. The package also includes a 4 m long metal gear rack, two photoelectric sensors, a warning light, two remote controls, and mounting accessories, i.e., everything needed to automate a self-supporting gate.

The gate can be opened and closed remotely using the two included remote controls. In addition to these, you can connect other devices to the control unit for access control, such as access buttons, keypads, card readers or smart relays with internet control, thus adapting the control to the needs of the operation.

Obstacle Detection and Accident Prevention

The sensitivity of obstacle detection can be adjusted from low to high. If the gate hits an obstacle while opening or closing, the motor stops. The included photoelectric sensors also monitor the gate's path and automatically stop the motor, or the closing of the gate, when any obstacle is detected. The sensors work on the principle of a beam between a transmitter and a receiver, the interruption of which is evaluated by the control unit.

Automatic Closing and "Condominium" Mode

The gate can be programmed to close automatically after a certain number of seconds (10, 30 or 60). The "Condominium" mode is also available, which allows simultaneous control from multiple access devices. When the gate is opening, pressing buttons on the remote control or on another terminal (button, keypad) will not work until the gate is fully open. When the gate is closing and you press a button on the remote control or another connected terminal, it will stop and fully open to allow access.
