The PNI CT26B is a flush-mounted Wi-Fi thermostat that monitors the room temperature and switches an electric underfloor heating system or a heating-group pump on and off accordingly. You can set it on the panel itself or from your phone in the Tuya Smart / Smart Life app – even when you are not at home.

In manual mode the thermostat tries to hold the set temperature around the clock; in automatic mode it follows a weekly schedule. You can plan four time periods for each day, so the heating does not run unnecessarily while you are at work or on holiday.

The package contains, besides the thermostat, mounting screws and an external floor sensor. Control can therefore be based either on the room air temperature or on the floor temperature. The black front panel made of glass and ABS plastic (86 × 86 mm, depth 35 mm) looks clean in the interior and is designed for installation in a wall box.

Installation and compatibility

The thermostat is powered from 90–250 V AC (50/60 Hz) and its output switches 230 V AC with a current of up to 10 A. It is suitable for electric underfloor heating, circulation pumps, pump and mixing groups of underfloor heating and 230 V solenoid valves. The output is a live relay, not a potential-free contact – if you want to use it for another device, check in that device's manual which type of input it requires. The Wi-Fi module works in the 2.4 GHz band (802.11b/g/n, WPA2 security). Connection to 230 V must be carried out by a person with electrical qualification.

Accessories

The floor sensor is included in the package, so you do not need to buy it separately. The thermostat is installed in the PNI modular system, so you need a wall box of the corresponding size.

Frequently asked questions

Can the thermostat be controlled when I am not at home?
Yes. Once paired with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, you can switch it on or off over the internet, change the mode, the schedule and some parameters.

Is the floor sensor included in the package?
Yes, the external sensor is in the package together with the thermostat and screws.

What temperatures does the thermostat measure and how finely can it be set?
It measures in the range of 1–99 °C, and you set and display the temperature in 0.5 °C steps. The hysteresis can be adjusted in the range of 0.5–5 °C, and the sensor can be calibrated.

Can the controls be locked?
Yes, the thermostat has a key lock (child protection).
