The PNI CT28WIFI is an internet gateway for the wireless PNI CT28 underfloor heating system. It connects to your Wi-Fi network and translates commands from the app into the radio communication used by the PNI CT28 PRO thermostats and the PNI CT28M control module.

In the Tuya Smart app you first add the gateway and then connect the thermostat to it as a sub-device. You can see both the set and the measured temperature, change the heating state and the mode (manual, eco, according to a schedule), and you will also find advanced settings such as frost protection, child lock, open-window detection, temperature calibration or hysteresis.

The wireless part of the system also works without the gateway. The thermostats and the module communicate with each other on their own; the gateway merely adds access over the internet.

Connection

The hub is round, 65 mm in diameter and 12 mm thick, and is powered by 5 V / 1 A. It works on Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and on the 868 MHz radio frequency.
