PNI SafeHouse HS401 is a Wi-Fi motion sensor that is controlled via the Tuya Smart (Smart Life) app. When it detects movement within its range, it can emit a sound through the built-in speaker and send a notification to the app.
Built-in speaker
The speaker will sound every time the sensor detects the presence of a person. It can emit sound alerts, voice messages or greetings for customers in shops or offices. These functions can be customized, turned on or off in the Tuya Smart (Smart Life) app.
Armed mode: activation and deactivation
You can switch the sensor to armed mode or deactivate it via the app or by pressing the side button.
- armed mode (Armed): triggers an audio alarm through the built-in speaker and sends a notification to the app with every movement detected
- deactivated mode (Disarmed): the sensor still beeps when a person passes by if the Welcome function is enabled
- timetable: monitoring can be scheduled so that you receive a notification only when an intruder enters the protected area outside of working hours
Welcome function for customers
The "Welcome" function is ideal for commercial premises, offices or areas with restricted access. When the sensor is deactivated, it does not trigger an alarm or send notifications, but emits a short friendly beep to indicate the presence of a person. Thanks to this discreet sound, staff always have an overview of the arrival of a customer or visitor.
