Product detailed description

The PNI MW 150-12B is a sealed lead-acid battery using AGM technology, rated at 12 V and 150 Ah. The electrolyte is absorbed in glass fibre mats, so no topping up is needed and, in normal operation, no harmful fumes or corrosion of nearby parts occur.

It works well as an energy store for smaller photovoltaic systems, as a backup power source, for powering a caravan or camping equipment, or for emergency devices. If you need a higher voltage or a larger capacity, several identical units can be connected in series or in parallel.

It is a hefty unit: at 440 × 160 × 230 mm it weighs about 45 kg, so allow for a second person and a solid base when moving and installing it.

Connection and operation

The battery is charged through a solar charge controller, an inverter with a charger or a stand-alone charger designed for 12 V lead-acid AGM batteries. Set the charging voltages and currents according to the battery manufacturer's data. Connecting cables and fuses must be sized for the expected current.
