The PNI SmartHome WP800 is a Wi-Fi adapter that you plug into an ordinary Schuko socket and then connect an appliance to. From then on you can switch it on and off from your phone wherever you are, or on a schedule. No installation and no electrician needed.

The plug joins your 2.4 GHz home Wi-Fi network and is operated with the Tuya Smart app. You can also link it with the Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants and then simply say a command out loud. At the same time you can monitor the consumption of the connected appliance on your phone, so you know what is needlessly wasting energy.

The maximum load is 3700 W at 16 A and the plug is protected against overload. In standby it draws no more than 0.3 W itself. The ABS housing measures 87 × 50 × 50 mm and weighs around 100 g.
