Product detailed description
Protherm - SET - MiGo Select controller + MiGo Link gateway
- room controller for remote control over the internet via a mobile app - requires the MiGo Link internet gateway and a Wi-Fi connection
-Remote control of the boiler has never been easier. The smart MiGo Select controller makes it possible. Heating and hot water preparation can be controlled precisely, simply, and flexibly via a smartphone or tablet. The internet connection is provided via the MiGo Link internet module, which you receive together with the controller.
- Thanks to the controller and the app, heating and hot water are always within reach, even when you are not at home. Your house always has the perfect temperature, but only when you actually need it.
- Do your plans change at the last minute? Even then MiGo Select proves its usefulness: by activating the „Away” mode you can quickly and easily adjust the programming. Simply state when you expect to return home and MiGo Select will send a signal to the boiler in time to raise the temperature in the house according to the program.
MiGo Select was developed to work with all new boilers we bring to market, and with many Protherm boilers with an eBUS communication interface. By controlling your boiler with a smart controller, you save more energy and costs than by installing a traditional controller.
Your personal heating assistant:
- Heating and hot water preparation can be controlled precisely, simply, and flexibly remotely via a smartphone or tablet
- Room temperature setting with a rotary knob
- Current room temperature shown on the display
- Room humidity measurement - the humidity value is visible in the app
- The app is available for Android and iOS
- Simple wireless installation
- The controller can be mounted on a wall or placed vertically on a shelf
- Compatible with all new boilers we bring to market, and with many other Protherm boilers with an eBUS connection.
Notice:
- The MiGo Select controller does not guarantee full compatibility with eBUS boilers manufactured before 2015, and full functionality of all controller features is not guaranteed when connected with such boilers.
- The MiGo Link app for the MiGo Select smart controller is available for devices with access to the App Store and Google Play.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How can I check that the „Protherm - SET - MiGo Select controller + MiGo Link gateway” fits my appliance exactly? The most reliable way is to compare the exact type/catalogue designation on your appliance's rating plate (boiler, cylinder, water heater) with the compatibility stated directly in this product's name (brand PROTHERM) and in its technical parameters above. If in doubt, send us the exact type designation of your appliance (including the serial number, if available) - we will be happy to verify compatibility for you.
- Why is it important to use an original/compatible part rather than a universal replacement? Parts such as seals, sensors, or safety components (safety valves, thermal fuses) are usually designed to match the exact parameters of the specific appliance (pressure, temperature, sensor electrical resistance) - an incorrect part can cause reduced function, leaks, or, in the case of safety components, even a genuine safety risk.
- Must this part be installed by a professional? For simpler, mechanical parts (e.g. seals, covers, small accessories not connected to electricity, gas, or the pressurised part of the system), a competent DIY person can usually manage the replacement after disconnecting the appliance from power and the supply lines. However, for any intervention in the gas, electrical, or pressurised part of the appliance (e.g. sensors located directly in the combustion chamber, safety valves, electrical modules), we always recommend a service technician - especially since such work could otherwise affect the validity of the warranty on the whole appliance.
- How do I know this part is worn and needs replacing? Common symptoms include visible wear or cracking (for seals and rubber parts), water or flue gas leaking at the location of the part, an error message on the control display (for sensors and electronic modules), or a clearly reduced function of the appliance (e.g. irregular burner combustion). If in doubt, the safest option is to have the condition assessed by a service technician during the regular annual inspection.
- Is it worth keeping this part at home as a spare/service part? For parts that are subject to regular wear (seals, fuses, small mechanical components) and whose failure would mean a shutdown of heating or hot water production, keeping a spare on hand is a sensible precaution - especially for an older appliance for which the part might be harder to source quickly.
