IVAR.FEKAFOS 1300 DOUBLE KOMPLET VS (code DBL1300VS) is a complete pumping station designed for underground installation. Wastewater from the building flows into a 1300 l tank, from which a pair of sewage pumps pushes it into the discharge pipe. The station includes check valves, a lifting device, and level sensing.

Tank

The self-supporting tank is manufactured by rotational molding from very strong polyethylene and has a watertight lid. It is 2000 mm high, has an outer diameter of 1020 mm, and the inspection neck has an inner diameter of 625 mm. For inflow, a supplied connection for a smooth PVC sewer pipe DN 160 is provided – the hole is drilled using a core drill in the marked flat areas. The discharge is connected using a PE quick coupling in dimensions 6/4" (50 mm) or 2" (63 mm), and the pump and float cables are protected by a AFLEX Ø 50 mm protective sleeve connected to a prepared coupling.

Pumps FEKA VS 1200 T-NA and NG PANEL

Two stainless steel sewage pumps FEKA VS 1200 T-NA (3 × 400 V) have vortex impellers and can pass solid particles up to 50 mm in diameter. Their operation is controlled by the NG PANEL control panel according to level switches; when the maximum level is exceeded, it activates an audible alarm and alarm outputs.

Installation and operation

• excavation approximately 1 m larger on all sides, with a 15° slope of the walls
• compacted base of thickness 20–30 cm, backfill compacted in layers of 30 cm
• in case of high groundwater, a concrete base C12/15 of at least 15 cm thickness and tank anchoring using a stainless steel band
• under a trafficable surface, a reinforced concrete ring with a cast iron manhole cover, which does not press on the tank (minimum gap of 50 mm)
• the neck can be adapted to the terrain by shortening or extended up to 50 cm by extension S038 (250 mm) or telescopic extension S039 (500 mm)

Rainwater, groundwater, or water from swimming pools should not be directed into the tank. Installation, electrical connection, and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person.

Frequently asked questions

How are the two pumps in the FEKAFOS 1300 DOUBLE station controlled?
The FEKA VS 1200 T-NA pumps do not have their own float switches – they are activated by the NG PANEL control panel according to level switches or probes. When the maximum level is exceeded, the panel activates a buzzer and alarm outputs.

Can rainwater be directed into the tank?
No. Only wastewater from the building should be directed into the tank – rainwater, groundwater, or water from swimming pools or aquariums must not be introduced into it.

What if the tank is too low below ground level after backfilling?
The neck can be extended by up to 50 cm using extension S038 (250 mm) or telescopic extension S039 (500 mm). Before installation, a rubber gasket is placed on the inspection opening neck.

How to install the tank in case of high groundwater level?
A concrete base C12/15 of at least 15 cm thickness is made under the tank, and the tank is anchored against buoyancy, for example, using a stainless steel band fixed with anchors M10 or M12.
