IVAR.FEKAFOS 940 SINGLE KOMPLET VS (code SING940VS) is a complete pumping station designed for underground installation. Wastewater from the building flows into a tank with a volume of 940 l, and the sewage pump pushes it from there into the discharge pipe. The station includes check valves, a lifting device, and level sensing.
Tank
The self-supporting tank is manufactured by rotational molding from very strong polyethylene and has a watertight lid. It is 1500 mm high, has an outer diameter of 1020 mm, and the inspection neck has an inner diameter of 625 mm. For the inflow, a supplied connection for a smooth PVC sewer pipe DN 160 is provided – the opening is drilled with a core drill in the marked flat areas. The discharge is connected with a PE quick coupling in the dimension 6/4" (50 mm) or 2" (63 mm), and the pump and float cables are protected by a protective sleeve AFLEX Ø 50 mm connected to a prepared coupling.
Pump FEKA VS 1200 M-A
FEKA VS 1200 M-A is a submersible centrifugal pump made of stainless steel with a vortex impeller, which can pass solid particles up to a diameter of 50 mm. The single-phase automatic version switches its own float, so the station does not require a control panel.
Installation and operation
- excavation approximately 1 m larger on all sides, with a 15° slope of the walls
- compacted base of thickness 20–30 cm, backfill compacted in layers of 30 cm
- in the case of high groundwater, a concrete base C12/15 of at least 15 cm thickness and the tank is anchored with a stainless steel band
- under a trafficable surface, a reinforced concrete ring with a cast iron manhole cover that does not press on the tank (minimum gap of 50 mm)
- the neck can be adapted to the terrain by shortening or raising up to 50 cm by extending S038 (250 mm) or S039 (telescopic, 500 mm)
Rainwater or groundwater or water from pools must not be discharged into the tank. Installation, electrical connection, and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person.

Frequently asked questions
Does the FEKAFOS 940 SINGLE station require a control panel?
No. The FEKA VS 1200 M-A pump is automatic and is switched by its own float, so the SINGLE version is delivered without a panel. Double pump versions of the DOUBLE type have a control panel NG PANEL.
Can rainwater be discharged into the tank?
No. Only wastewater from the building should be discharged into the tank – rainwater, groundwater, or water from pools or aquariums must not be discharged into it.
What if the tank is too low below ground level after backfilling?
The neck can be raised by up to 50 cm by extending S038 (250 mm) or telescopic extension S039 (500 mm). Before installation of the extension, a rubber gasket is placed on the inspection opening neck.
How to install the tank in the case of high groundwater level?
A concrete base C12/15 of at least 15 cm thickness is made under the tank, and the tank is anchored against buoyancy, for example, with a stainless steel band fixed with anchors M10 or M12.
