IVAR.FEKAFOS 1300 DOUBLE KOMPLET GRI (code DBL1300GRI) is a complete pumping station intended for underground installation. Wastewater from the building flows into a 1300 l tank and is pumped out by a pair of pumps into the discharge pipe. The station includes check valves, a lifting device, and level sensing.

Tank

The self-supporting tank is manufactured by rotational molding from very strong polyethylene and has a watertight lid. It is 2000 mm high, has an outer diameter of 1020 mm, and the inspection neck has an inner diameter of 625 mm. For inflow, a supplied connection for a smooth PVC sewer pipe DN 160 is provided – the opening is drilled using a core drill in the marked flat areas. The discharge is connected using a PE quick coupling in the size 6/4" (50 mm) or 2" (63 mm), and the pump and float cables are protected by a AFLEX Ø 50 mm conduit connected to a prepared coupling.

Pumps FEKA VS GRINDER 1000 T-NA and NG PANEL

The two FEKA VS GRINDER 1000 T-NA pumps (3 × 400 V) have a vortex impeller with a front cutting device, which cuts solid particles into small pieces. This allows wastewater to be transported through a smaller diameter pressure pipe – such a solution is used in pressure systems, for example in hilly terrain. The pumps are switched by the NG PANEL control panel according to the level switches and will issue an alarm in case of high water level.

Installation and operation

• excavation approximately 1 m larger on all sides, with a 15° slope on the walls
• compacted bedding of 20–30 cm thickness, backfill compacted in 30 cm layers
• in case of high groundwater level, a concrete C12/15 bedding of at least 15 cm thickness and tank anchoring with a stainless steel strap
• under a trafficable area, a reinforced concrete ring with a cast iron manhole cover that does not press on the tank (minimum 50 mm gap)
• the neck can be adjusted to the terrain by shortening or extended by up to 50 cm by extension S038 (250 mm) or telescopic extension S039 (500 mm)

Rainwater, groundwater, or water from pools must not be discharged into the tank. Installation, electrical wiring, and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified person.

When to choose the GRI version instead of the VS version?
The GRI version has FEKA VS GRINDER pumps with a cutting device that cuts solid particles into small pieces. It is suitable for pressure sewer systems with a smaller diameter discharge pipe, for example in hilly terrain.

Can rainwater be discharged into the tank?
No. Only wastewater from the building should be discharged into the tank – rainwater, groundwater, or water from pools or aquariums must not be introduced into it.

What if the tank is too low under the ground after backfilling?
The neck can be extended by up to 50 cm using extension S038 (250 mm) or telescopic extension S039 (500 mm). Before installation of the extension, a rubber gasket is placed on the inspection opening neck.

How to install the tank in case of high groundwater level?
A concrete C12/15 bedding of at least 15 cm thickness is made under the tank and the tank is anchored against buoyancy, for example with a stainless steel strap fixed with anchors M10 or M12.
