IVAR.DO IR is an infrared remote control for ECI and ECI-DC fan coils. The signal is received by the IVAR.IR console mounted in the fan coil grille – without it the remote cannot communicate with the fan coil. The console for ECI fan coils has code I07916992, the one for ECI-DC code I07916997. An IVAR.LAS room air temperature sensor (I07916910) must also be installed on the fan coil.
What the remote sets
- the desired room temperature in the range 10–30 °C
- fan speed
- heating or cooling mode (ventilation and dehumidification cannot be selected)
- Economy night mode – raises the setpoint by 6 °C as standard in cooling and lowers it by 6 °C in heating
- Stand-by mode (on/off)
Each time a button is pressed, the remote sends the complete current setting to the fan coil, so a switched-off fan coil within signal range starts up again. The operating status is shown by LED indicators: green for cooling, red for heating (flashing means the valve is open and the unit is currently cooling or heating), yellow with beeps signals an alarm.
The infrared signal range is 8–10 m and 2 × 1.5 V batteries are included. Installation of the console and electrical connection of the fan coil must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The warranty is 24 months.
