Set of two ball valves with flange 1" IVAR.9723 R
Code: 9723R666Product detailed description
Set IVAR.9723 R with size 1" contains two ball valves with lever. One is installed on the distributor inlet, the other on the collector outlet, so the supply and return pipe of the distribution node can be closed independently of each other.
Finishing
- size 1" (DN 25), threads according to ISO 228/1 (DIN 259)
- on one side a lever with external thread, on the other side internal thread (M/F)
- lever operation, rotation by 90°, levers in red and blue color
- body, ball and end connection made of nickel-plated brass CW617N, ball sealing from PTFE, O-ring from EPDM, lever from painted aluminium
- overall length of the valve 95.5 mm, wrench size 38 mm
Application
The valves are suitable for cold and hot water and compressed air distribution in households, industry and agriculture. The medium must not be aggressive. For size 1", the maximum operating pressure is PN 30, the temperature range is −20 to +120 °C.
Maintenance: always keep the ball valve fully open or fully closed, it is not intended for flow regulation. If you regularly turn it through the full range – once or twice a quarter for water systems – less dirt will settle on the ball sealing and the valve will seal longer.
The IVAR.9723 R range also includes sets with sizes 3/4" and 5/4".

Frequently asked questions
What is the set of two ball valves IVAR.9723 R 1" used for?
The valves are mounted on the distributor inlet and collector outlet, so the supply and return pipe can be closed separately at the distribution node. The size 1" corresponds to the nominal diameter DN 25.
Can the ball valve remain partially open and regulate the flow?
No. Ball valves are used only in fully open or fully closed position, they are not intended for flow regulation.
How to extend the life of the valve sealing?
Regularly turn the valves through the full range, once or twice a quarter for water systems. Less dirt will settle on the ball sealing.
What pressure and temperature can the valves withstand?
For size 1", the maximum operating pressure is PN 30. The medium temperature can be from −20 to +120 °C.

IVAR designs, develops and manufactures highly energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems. We have over 10,000 catalogue items - mass-produced products and unique items - in addition to customised systems and combinations of complex products. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Vision
To make life easier for our clients, our clients' customers and our employees, thanks to our ability to be constantly innovative.
Mission
To design and manufacture advanced hydronic solutions that reduce installation complexity and energy consumption.
“Made in Italy” adds value
IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
Know How
Research, development and numerous laboratory tests guarantee that our clients’ requests can be translated into new high-efficiency products.
The stages required for production take place internally, beginning with hot forming, which is carried out at our subsidiary Valmon Stampati. Our continuous implementation of projects under the Industry 4.0 initiative also allows us to take full advantage of new releases in technology and IT to improve our manufacturing efficiency.
As a company, IVAR is constantly evolving. Every day, we invest in strengthening our products, in improving our production processes and in attaining new patents and certifications.
