The hybrid solar inverter ECO Solar Boost EVO MPPT-4000 Grid is the new generation of our popular range of devices that allow direct use of photovoltaic panels to power heating elements.

The range was designed based on many years of engineering experience and customer feedback. Artificial intelligence (AI) was used in the design process, making the device more reliable and optimizing its architecture.

Key advantages

• Hybrid operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: when the panel voltage drops below 40 V (e.g. at night or during heavy rain), the heater automatically switches to grid power. When the panel voltage rises above 80 V, the inverter returns to solar priority.
• Maximum yield thanks to MPPT: the integrated MPPT algorithm intelligently regulates the energy delivered to the heater, maximizing yield from the panels and automatically adapting to the heater's performance.
• Clear indication: LED indicators (PV/AC) clearly show the current operating mode.
• Power indicator with 5 LED diodes: displays the instantaneous supplied power with 10 % accuracy (in steps of 400 W). If all five LEDs are lit, the heater draws 3601 – 4000 W.

System design recommendations

• Panels: standard panels with a power of 400 – 700 W connected in series or series-parallel.
• Voltage: total Voc at 25 °C in the range 120 – 300 V; the absolute operating range of the inverter is 120 – 350 V DC.
• Panel power: the inverter has an internal limit of 4 kW, but the total installed panel power must not exceed 5 kW.
• Recommended panel power: for standard boilers (50 – 200 l) in spring-autumn operation 1000 – 2000 W. For year-round operation, a higher power is recommended due to winter cloudiness and low sun angle.
• Heating element: power 200 – 4000 W / 230 V.
