Cooling and heating from one system
The IVAR.XREVO-12 is an inverter split air conditioner with air-to-air heat exchange, manufactured by the Italian company EMMETI. The system consists of the wall-mounted indoor unit X-REVO-1224W and the outdoor unit X-REVO-1224E with a rotary compressor. In cooling mode it delivers 3.1 kW and, thanks to the inverter, adjusts its output continuously within 0.90–3.30 kW. In heating mode it works as a heat pump: at -10 °C outside it supplies 3.3 kW of heat, and 3.30 kW nominal at 7 °C.

Control and functions
Everything is set with the infrared remote control: cooling COOL, heating HEAT, dehumidification DRY (1.0 l/h), fan FAN and automatic SMART mode, with a set temperature of 16–30 °C. Further functions include SUPER for rapid cooling or heating, QUIET mode, ECONOMY mode, the SLEEP night programme, TIMER, I FEEL with a temperature sensor in the remote, 8 °C temperature maintenance, CLEAN, display dimming, key lock and automatic restart with the previous settings after a power cut. Airflow is directed by an automatic horizontal louvre and a manually adjustable vertical louvre. For control from a smartphone via the ConnectLife app, the WiFi controller I07917566 is available separately.
Installation and maintenance
The units are connected with 6.35 mm (1/4") and 9.52 mm (3/8") refrigerant lines over a distance of up to 20 m with a maximum height difference of 10 m. The outdoor unit cools at outdoor temperatures from -15 to 43 °C and heats from -20 to 24 °C. Power supply is single-phase 230 V / 50 Hz. Because R32 refrigerant is flammable, installation and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified technician. The air filters of the indoor unit should be cleaned every 100 operating hours, or roughly every two weeks in dusty environments.
Test conditions: cooling at 27 (19) °C indoors and 35 °C outdoors, heating at 20 °C indoors and -10 °C outdoors.

Can the IVAR.XREVO-12 air conditioner also heat?
Yes, it works as an air-to-air heat pump. At -10 °C outside it supplies 3.3 kW of heat and can heat down to -20 °C outdoors; however, the heating capacity decreases as the outdoor temperature falls.
How far from the indoor unit can the outdoor unit be installed?
The distance between the units can be up to 20 m and the height difference up to 10 m. They are connected with 1/4" and 3/8" refrigerant lines.
Can the air conditioner be controlled from a smartphone?
As standard it is operated with the infrared remote control. To control it from a phone or tablet via the ConnectLife app, the WiFi controller with code I07917566 must be purchased separately.
