The IVAR.CI 589 VPS assembly made of AISI 304 stainless steel distributes heating water to individual circuits of hydronic floor or wall heating, or to radiators, each of which has its own supply. This five-way version is delivered without a casing and is fully equipped with regulating and shut-off valves.

Technical data
The assembly is connected by an internal thread of 1" (DN 25), the outputs have a 3/4" EK eurocone with an axial spacing of 50 mm. The axial distance between the distributor and the collector is 200 mm, the depth of the assembly is 110 mm, and the dimension A according to the drawing is 312 mm for this version. The flow meters are adjustable in the range of 0–2.5 l/min with a tolerance of ±10 %, and a fully open output has a Kv of 1.0. Operation up to 10 bar and +90 °C, threads according to ISO 228/1, seals from EPDM, flow meters from plastic PPA/ABC.
Accessories and start-up
Pipes are connected to the outputs by soldering according to the material – IVAR.TA 4420 for ALPEX, TP 4410 for PEX or TR 4430 for copper, in the number according to the outputs. Electrothermal heads IVAR.TE 30xx or TE 40xx allow you to control the flow of each circuit separately, which increases the comfort of regulation and helps save energy. According to the technical sheet, the P2 / N2 cabinet is suitable for this size. Before the first start-up, thoroughly flush the system, especially if it combines floor and radiator heating; the manufacturer recommends GEL.LONG LIFE 100 or MAYLINE SBA for water treatment.

Frequently asked questions
For which heating is the IVAR.CI 589 VPS assembly intended?
For hydronic floor and wall heating and for distribution to radiators, when each radiator has its own supply. Code 503305VPS is a five-way version with 3/4" EK outputs.
Can electrothermal heads be mounted on the assembly?
Yes, the collector valves with M 30 × 1.5 connection are prepared for them – suitable are IVAR.TE 30xx or TE 40xx. The heads are not part of the assembly, manual heads are installed on the valves from the factory.
Are soldering fittings included in the package for connecting the pipes?
No, soldering fittings are ordered according to the pipe material: IVAR.TA 4420 for ALPEX, TP 4410 for PEX or TR 4430 for copper pipes.
How is the flow set in individual circuits?
By the flow meter on the distributor in the range of 0 to 2.5 l/min with a tolerance of ±10 %. The set value can be locked and the circuit can also be completely closed by the flow meter.
