The Sunflex M3.00 hose in size 5/4" is a flexible water transfer hose that we supply in a 25 m roll. It has an inner diameter of 32 mm and an outer diameter of 39 mm, making it the largest dimension available in the entire M3.00 range. The wall made of softened PVC is reinforced with polyester fiber and the hose has a transparent green color.

Application

The hose is used for water transfer in gardening, construction and industry. The larger diameter allows for the transfer of a greater volume of water, so the 5/4" size is suitable where it is necessary to connect a more powerful source. However, this is at the expense of operating pressure: at this size, it is 5 kg/cm², while smaller sizes of the range can withstand more, namely 6 kg/cm² at 1", 8 kg/cm² at 3/4" and 10 kg/cm² at 1/2".

Installation and Operation

Select fittings and couplings according to the inner diameter of 32 mm, so that the connection is tight and the hose does not slip. Do not exceed the operating pressure of 5 kg/cm²: the burst pressure of 15 kg/cm² is a value at which the hose may fail, and not an operating parameter. Do not kink the hose, do not expose it to temperatures outside the range of -10 °C to +60 °C and after use, drain it and store it coiled.
