Detailed information

Product detailed description

Vaillant flexoCOMPACT exclusive VWF 58/4 is a ground-water (brine-water) heat pump that, in its basic configuration, extracts heat from the ground and is designed for heating, hot water preparation, and in combination with suitable accessories, also for cooling. The unit is designed as a compact solution for indoor installation in the house – it occupies a built-up area of only 0.35 m², which allows it to fit even into smaller technical rooms.

This product includes a set that, in addition to the heat pump flexoCOMPACT exclusive VWF 58/4 itself, also includes the fluoCOLLECT 11/4 SI separation module, the sensoCOMFORT 720 controller, and the internet gateway VR 940f. The fluoCOLLECT separation module expands the heat source options – the heat pump can therefore use groundwater as an energy source in addition to ground loops or collectors. The sensoCOMFORT 720 controller is used to manage the heating system operation, and the internet gateway VR 940f allows the device to be connected to the home network and remotely controlled via the mobile app myVAILLANT.

A major advantage of this model is the integrated hot water storage tank with a capacity of 185 liters, made of stainless steel. The tank is built directly into the heat pump body, so there is no need to arrange for a separate external water heater – the system thus saves space in the technical room and at the same time provides comfort for hot water preparation for a typical household.

The flexoCOMPACT exclusive series, to which this model belongs, is available in power variants ranging from 5 to 11 kW, making it a suitable solution especially for well-insulated single-family homes. The device is also equipped with a noise reduction system (Sound Safe System), which ensures quiet operation of the heat pump inside the building.
