Application and Installation

The valve is suitable wherever it is necessary to quickly interrupt the water flow, whether in a water supply installation or in heating distribution systems. The quarter-turn lever operation allows the valve to be closed with one movement. The TYTAN range with a drain cock and air vent valve is available in sizes 1/2", 3/4", and 1"; this item has a size of 1" and a weight of 0.552 kg. Before installation, check whether the pressure and temperature in the system correspond to the values in the table. If the valve is not used for a long time, occasionally operate it to prevent the ball from becoming stuck.
