Features of DR2-MD:
It is functionally identical to the DR2-ZD type. However, its power component is a MOSFET transistor. Therefore, this type can be used with electronic transformers (not with toroidal transformers). Another advantage is silent operation and an electronic fuse resistant to bulb short-circuits.

Ja, der DR2-MD ist genau dafür gemacht und funktioniert mit elektronischen Transformatoren. Er unterscheidet sich durch seinen MOSFET-Transistor nur vom Typ DR2-ZD, läuft aber geräuschlos und schützt die Lampen vor Kurzschlüssen. Für normale toroidale Transformatoren ist er allerdings nicht geeignet.
