Domestic hot water temperature sensor for Vaillant storage tanks.
An immersion temperature sensor that measures the water temperature in the storage tank and sends the signal to the boiler control (or system controller). Based on this data, the boiler evaluates whether the storage tank needs reheating, thereby maintaining the set hot water temperature.
When you need this sensor
It is needed when connecting a boiler with a separate hot water storage tank, where temperature control is carried out precisely on the basis of this sensor - without it, the boiler would not know when to reheat the storage tank.
