The wireless thermostat PNI CT62 measures temperature with high accuracy and displays it in 0.1 °C steps. You can set the desired temperature with precision, which you can choose between 0.1 °C and 0.5 °C. The device consists of two units, a transmitter with a display and a receiver, which communicate via radio.

You can choose from three modes: schedule operation, manual control, or vacation (anti-frost) mode. In scheduled operation, you can set up to 4 time periods for each day of the week.

Schedule for each day

For each day of the week, you can schedule up to 4 time periods with their own temperature limits, thus adapting the schedule to your departure and return home. A typical day might look like this:

• 00:00 – 21 degrees
• 06:00 – 22 degrees
• 08:00 – 21 degrees
• 17:00 – 22 degrees

Advanced parameters menu

In the advanced settings, you can change the temperature setting step, sensor calibration, hysteresis, anti-frost temperature, child lock, and open window function. Device reset is also available.

Button lock

After enabling the child lock in the advanced settings, the buttons will be locked when the screen backlight turns off. This prevents unintentional temperature changes.

Anti-frost function

Thanks to this feature, you can leave the system in the care of the thermostat when you are away. In the advanced menu, you can choose a temperature between 3 °C and 10 °C, which will be maintained during your absence.

Open window function

When the OWD function is enabled and the room temperature suddenly drops (the level can be set), the thermostat turns off the heating. Such a drop occurs when a window or door is opened while the boiler is running. An open window icon appears on the display. After 30 minutes, the thermostat returns to the original mode.

Usage

The thermostat PNI CT62 is intended for boilers and heating systems with a boiler that can be controlled by a no-voltage contact. It is suitable for anyone who wants to see the temperature in tenths of a degree and use a fixed weekly schedule with the option to switch to manual setting. If you are going away from home for a longer period, choose the vacation mode and the thermostat will maintain only the anti-frost temperature.

Pairing and installation

The transmitter and receiver communicate via radio waves, the receiver is connected to the central heating by cable. Both units are pre-paired from the factory. Since the device must be connected to the 230 V mains and the heating system, installation should be carried out only by qualified personnel.
