What it is for
The IVAR.CS 657 assembly distributes heating or cooling water to individual loops or branches and collects it on the return. It is designed for heating and cooling systems as well as industrial applications that call for a high flow rate. This version has 11 outlets and DN 50 bodies with 2" side connections.
Features
- bodies in AISI 316L stainless steel with high corrosion resistance
- outlets with 1" F female thread at 100 mm centres
- side connections with 2" F and 1" F female thread
- threads to ISO 228/1
- colour coding: flow on the distribution manifold, return on the collector
- centre distance between the two manifolds can be chosen
- medium: water or a mixture with up to 30 % glycol
Installation
The assembly is supplied dismantled and contains the flow body, the return body and mounting brackets. The outlets are unpopulated, so they can be fitted with shut-off or balancing valves as the design requires. After assembly and tightening of the joints, a pressure test and leak check must be carried out. Flow is connected on the side marked IN (red), return on the side marked OUT (blue). The bodies must not be stressed by excessive tightening torque.
The same assembly is made with 2 to 12 outlets, also in a 6/4" x 1" F version.
