ATMOS C 25 ST
Code: C25 STProduct detailed description
– 25 kW gasification boiler for brown coal and wood – COMBI with exhaust fan and cooling loop
It is designed for burning brown coal and wood as a backup fuel (for lighting up), based on the principle of generator gasification using an exhaust fan (S), which draws the flue gases out of the boiler.
The boiler body is made as a welded construction from high-quality steel sheets 3 to 6 mm thick. It consists of two chambers stacked on top of each other, the upper one serving as a fuel hopper, the lower one as a combustion chamber and ash pan. Between them is a new, patented rotary grate, which allows perfect fuel gasification and easy ash removal. At the rear of the boiler body there is a vertical flue gas duct, fitted at the top with an ignition flap. The upper part of the flue gas duct is fitted with an exhaust neck for connection to the chimney.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How to choose the right output for a solid fuel boiler? Start from the calculated heat loss of the heated building, but for wood/coal boilers also consider that the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output during one filling - it is therefore common practice to add a heat storage tank to the boiler, which stores excess heat for later use instead of the boiler having to inefficiently be throttled down.
- What else do I need for installing this boiler? In addition to the boiler itself, the system generally requires: a heat storage (buffer) tank of appropriate volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or thermoregulatory valve against low-temperature corrosion of the boiler), a safety valve, an expansion vessel and a flue/chimney with sufficient draft corresponding to the boiler output - exact draft values can be found in the technical parameters above.
- What fuel is suitable and what is not? Use only the fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (typically split wood of a defined length and moisture content, or brown coal briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or too moist fuel reduces efficiency, increases the formation of tar and deposits and can damage the boiler.
- What about chimney inspection and legislation? Before putting the boiler into operation, as well as regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), a chimney inspection/cleaning by an authorized chimney sweep is legally required - without the relevant inspection certificate, an insurance claim may also be disputed in the event of a fire.
- How much maintenance does the boiler require? This usually includes regular ash removal and cleaning of heating surfaces/flue gas passages from soot (interval depending on intensity of use, usually a matter of weeks), and once a year a thorough inspection including seals and the chimney.
- Can I install the boiler myself? The actual placement and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney and safety elements should be carried out or at least professionally inspected by a heating technician - this is a device with an open flame, high temperatures and pressure elements, where a connection error can be a safety risk.
