Barenbrug SuperSport 15kg is a specialized mixture of perennial ryegrass and Kentucky bluegrass, designed for demanding sports fields and heavily trafficked areas. This type of seeding supports fast recovery after heavy use.

Professionals achieve optimal results by applying up to 50g/m2 (which means 5kg per 100m2), and with the correct irrigation strategy they eliminate the need for subsequent overseeding.

PREPARATION:

Site preparation includes removing weeds, stones, roots and old vegetation. It is essential to loosen the top layer, water thoroughly, add 2cm of lawn substrate, let it settle for a week and then roll it. Finally, we recommend leveling the soil with a rake to ensure a smooth surface layer.

The most suitable time for planting (under normal conditions) is the turn of April and May or autumn in September and October.

For even distribution of the seed, we recommend using a hand seeder for smaller areas, while for larger areas cart-type seeders are suitable.

In order for the lawn to fulfill its role as a garden decoration, it requires regular maintenance, ideally with the help of a Wiper robotic mower, applying nutrients three times a year (spring, transitional, and autumn fertilization) and chemical protection against pests and diseases as needed.
