PNI CT28M is a control module that collects commands from room thermostats and opens and closes the valves or actuators of individual floor heating circuits accordingly. It can handle up to eight zones, so each room can have its own temperature.

It communicates wirelessly with the PNI CT28 PRO thermostats at a frequency of 868 MHz. Pairing takes place directly on the module: you select a zone, activate pairing on the thermostat and on the module, and a successful connection is confirmed by the zone indicator. Thermostats and the Wi-Fi gateway are sold separately, or you can find them in the PNI CT28 Pro 8 set.

The module is powered from the 230 V AC mains and has an output for a pump (230 V AC) and a potential-free output for the heating system, so it can be connected to a boiler or another heat source. The total current of all zones can be up to 3 A, and 2 A per zone.

Installation and use

The module has dimensions of 350 × 55 × 115 mm and is installed near the floor heating manifold. Connection to 230 V and linking to the valves must be carried out by a qualified technician. If you want to adjust the temperature from your phone, add the PNI CT28WIFI Wi-Fi gateway and the Tuya Smart app to the module.

Common questions

Can the module be used without Wi-Fi?
Yes, the thermostats communicate with it via radio and the regulation works even without internet. The Wi-Fi gateway only adds control via the app.

How many thermostats can be connected?
The module is designed for eight zones, i.e., eight floor heating circuits.
