Pump unit for booster sets

ESYBOX MAX 45/120 T by DAB is a compact electronic unit for boosting water pressure in medium and large residential buildings, commercial premises and high-rise buildings (even above 14 floors). It is mounted on an ESYDOCK MAX docking base, which is not included: the single base takes one pump, 2 ESYDOCK MAX two and 3 ESYDOCK MAX three pumps; a four-pump set is created with an additional kit joining two double bases. The parts can be brought to site separately and the set assembled only during installation (O.S.A. concept).

Performance of model 45/120 T

According to the manufacturer's performance table the unit delivers a head of 58 m up to 4.8 m³/h, 45 m at 7.2 m³/h, 23 m at 11.4 m³/h and 7 m at 14.4 m³/h. Maximum differential pressure is 5.7 bar, P1 max power input 1.93 kW (2.59 HP), rated current 3.4 A.

Design and control

• vertical multistage centrifugal pump with three technopolymer impellers with steel anti-wear rings, non-return valve on the delivery side and 2 l expansion vessel
• permanent magnet motor cooled by the pumped water, motor casing and shaft made of stainless steel, efficiency at IE5 class level according to the manufacturer's internal tests
• frequency inverter with pressure sensors on suction and delivery keeps a constant pressure of 1–12 bar (factory setting 3 bar)
• large display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, DConnect app for settings, alarms and consumption overview
• protection against dry running, overheating, freezing, blocking, cycling and abnormal current or voltage
• esy I/O module (accessory) for connection to a building management system (BMS)

Operating conditions

Clean, non-viscous, non-aggressive and chemically neutral water without solid or abrasive particles up to +50 °C, ambient up to +55 °C, inlet pressure max. 5 bar, nominal pressure PN 12. The pump is not self-priming – it draws from a tank or boosts the pressure of a mains supply; when installed above the water level, the suction lift with a foot valve is max. 4 m. Fixed installation in vertical position, motor protection IPX5, insulation class F. WRAS, ACS and NSF61 certificates make it suitable for drinking water as well.

Have the electrical connection and commissioning carried out by a qualified professional; the supply must be protected by a residual current device with I Δn ≤ 30 mA.

Frequently asked questions

Is the docking base included?
No. The ESYBOX MAX 45/120 T unit is mounted on an ESYDOCK MAX base that must be ordered separately – the single base for one pump, 2 ESYDOCK MAX for two or 3 ESYDOCK MAX for three pumps.

Can the unit draw water from a tank below the pump level?
The pump is not self-priming. When installed above the water level, it must be filled with water before start-up and a foot valve fitted at the beginning of the suction pipe; the suction lift is then max. 4 m.

What water can be pumped?
Clean, non-viscous, non-aggressive and chemically neutral water without solid or abrasive particles at up to +50 °C. Thanks to the WRAS, ACS and NSF61 certificates, ESYBOX MAX is also suitable for drinking water.

How is the unit set up and monitored?
On the large display or in the DConnect app via the integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Remote management through the DConnect service requires an internet connection.
