The DAB ESYTANK 500 (code 60161819) is an above-ground plastic tank designed for the ESYBOX electronic pressure system. Together they form a complete booster station for houses and small commercial premises – where the mains does not supply enough water, as a backup water reserve, or as a disconnector between the public network and the pumping system that prevents backflow into the mains. It is also suitable as an intermediate tank in tall buildings divided into pressure zones. The ESYBOX is not included.

Technical data

The LDPE polyethylene tank holds at most 480 litres and is suitable for drinking water. The mains inlet pressure may be no more than 6 bar; the inlet connection is 3/4" and the delivery pipe 1". The water should be clean and no warmer than 40 °C, with an ambient temperature of up to 50 °C. The tank weighs 40 kg and its dimensions allow it to pass through cellar doors and other narrow spaces. Capacity can be increased with expansion tanks connected at the sides or rear using the ESYTANK connection kit.

Is the ESYBOX included with the tank?
No. The tank is prepared for the ESYBOX including the ESYDOCK base, but the pressure system itself must be ordered separately.

Why does the name say 500 l when the tank holds 480 l?
The number 500 is part of the model name. According to the data sheet, the maximum tank volume is 480 litres.

Can the tank volume be extended?
Yes, the ESYTANK is modular. Expansion tanks are connected on either side or at the rear using the ESYTANK connection kit.

Is the tank suitable for drinking water?
Yes, according to the manufacturer it is made of materials suitable for drinking water. The filling valve with a free outlet to EN 1717 protects the public mains against backflow.
