The EVOPLUS SMALL 110/180 SAN M (code 60151147) is the SAN version of the DAB EVOPLUS SMALL range. It differs from the standard models by its bronze pump body, which is why the manufacturer specifies it for drinking water – typically for the domestic hot water recirculation loop. The electronics continuously track changes in the system's hydraulics and adjust the motor speed so that recirculation runs with the lowest possible energy consumption.

Control and operation

Proportional differential pressure (ΔP-v) is set at the factory; for this mode the manufacturer states the best energy efficiency index. Constant differential pressure (ΔP-c) and a constant curve with fixed speed can also be selected. For the SAN version the manufacturer describes a constant-temperature mode that holds the required water temperature in the recirculation pipe without thermostatic valves. Settings are made on an OLED display with four navigation buttons; remote control (0–10 V, PWM, 4–20 mA, ModBus) is possible with optional expansion modules.

Is the EVOPLUS SMALL 110/180 SAN M suitable for drinking water?
Yes. The SAN version has a bronze body and, according to the manual, is intended for drinking water, for example for domestic hot water recirculation. Cast-iron EVOPLUS models without the SAN designation are not intended for domestic water.

Are unions included?
The data sheet lists the unions as an accessory available to order, as standard with a 1" female thread. The circulator itself has a 1 1/2" thread on the body and a port-to-port length of 180 mm.

How is the circulator installed correctly?
The motor shaft must be horizontal and the electronics in a vertical position. The flow direction is shown by the arrow on the body; shut-off valves on the suction and discharge side make inspection and maintenance easier.
