The DAB K 50/800 T (code 60167625) is a single-stage horizontal centrifugal pump from the DAB.K range. Body, adapter and impeller are made of cast iron; the impeller sits on the motor's extended stainless steel shaft, which is sealed by a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal. The pump is used for water transfer and pressure boosting in domestic, civil, industrial and agricultural systems, for example in irrigation.

Motor

The enclosed three-phase asynchronous motor, cooled by ambient air, is designed for 3 × 400 V in delta connection and allows star-delta starting. Rated output P2 is 11 kW (15 HP), maximum power input P1 12.75 kW, rated current 20.5 A, speed 2930 rpm and cos φ 0.89. The shaft runs in grease-lubricated ball bearings. Protection IP55, insulation class F. The motor must be protected against overload by overcurrent protection.

Performance and connection

At zero flow the pump reaches 58 m, at 36 m³/h 53.5 m, at 60 m³/h 41 m and at the maximum 78 m³/h 25 m. The suction flange is DN 80, the delivery flange DN 65. The pump weighs 104.3 kg.

Operating conditions

Clean water without solid or abrasive substances, non-aggressive, non-viscous and chemically neutral, at a temperature of −15 to +110 °C. Maximum operating pressure 10 bar, ambient temperature up to +40 °C. The pump is fixed horizontally on a solid base and must be primed with water before start-up. The connection should be made by a qualified electrician.
