IVAR.RHINOCOMFORT 3 (code IVAP19997) combines ventilation with heat recovery with air sanitation. The unit continuously exchanges air in the room without opening windows, the regenerative ceramic heat exchanger returns up to 90% of the heat from the extracted air to the interior, and the ISO Coarse filter captures impurities. It is suitable for rooms with an area up to 55 m².
Air Sanitation
Powerful UV-C and UV-A LED in combination with a photocatalytic process without ozone production break down harmful substances in the incoming outdoor air. According to the manufacturer, when the sanitation function is activated via the app, the unit can remove up to 99.6% of viruses and bacteria and reduce the concentration of PM2.5, PM10, and volatile organic compounds (VOC).

Control and Installation
Temperature, humidity, air quality (eCO2), and light sensors control the automatic mode; manually available are speeds V1–V3, night mode, temporary supply or exhaust for 60 minutes, and alternating airflow. The Intelliclima+ app offers weekly programming and in summer free cooling FREE-COOLING. The unit is mounted in an external wall with telescopic ducting, or in a duct up to 3 m (2.5 m with one bend). Installation must be performed by a qualified technician.

What is the difference between RHINOCOMFORT 3 and ECOCOMFORT 3?
It has the same ventilation parameters, but additionally includes an air sanitation system with UV-C and UV-A LED and photocatalysis. Sanitation can be turned on and off via the app.
Does disinfection produce ozone?
No, according to the manufacturer, the photocatalytic process does not produce ozone. Harmful substances in the incoming air are broken down into harmless ones.
