Durable DLF Turfline Sport mix is a specialized grass mix designed for physically demanding areas that are regularly loaded. The presence of perennial rye QuickAction® ensures rapid germination and quick regeneration after damage or intensive use. The lawn is characterized by dense, compact growth, creating a durable and attractive surface.

Yield: 1 kg is sufficient for 30–40 m². For professional applications, we recommend 50 g/m² (5 kg for 100 m²) with proper irrigation, which prevents the need for late overseeding.

Composition of the mix:

• Perennial rye QuickAction® (Lolium Perenne ESQUIRE) – 30 % – fastest germination
• Smooth meadow grass (Poa Pratensis GEISHA) – 10 %
• Red fescue (Festuca Rubra Commutata CASANOVA) – 10 %
• Sheep fescue (Festuca Rubra Rubra MAXIMA 1) – 45 % – basic durable component
• Red fescue (Festuca Ovina Trychyphylla RIDU) – 5 %

Site preparation and sowing:

For preparation, remove the old vegetation, roots, weeds and stones. Thoroughly till the topsoil and water it. Spread 2 cm of lawn mix and let it rest for a week. Then roll the area and level it with rakes.

The ideal time for sowing is the transition from April to May or autumn in September and October. For small areas, use a hand seeder, for larger areas use seeders on carts.

Care and maintenance:

Mowing: Perform the first mowing at a height of 6–8 cm. The second mowing at 3–4 cm. For sports turf, maintain a height of approximately 3 cm. For convenient maintenance, we recommend a robotic mower.

Fertilization and protection: The lawn requires regular fertilization (3 times a year – spring, transition, autumn) and chemical protection against pests and diseases as needed.

Tip: Before planting, consider placing a grid against moles (5–6 cm below the surface) to avoid damage.
