Model ELX Compact series are electronically controlled water flow heaters with pressure operation and hydraulic switching. Due to their design, they are suitable for installation in a water supply system, even for multiple draw-off points. The heater is suitable for a washbasin, kitchen sink, and also for supplying a shower as a draw-off point. An advantage of the ELX series flow heaters is the illuminated touch LCD display with an on/off heating button and the possibility of precise setting of the desired water temperature. The electronics also provide measurement of the current water flow and heater power consumption. Comfortable use of the flow heater and water heating are achieved by using a microprocessor that controls the water heating and maintains a constant temperature of the hot water at the heater outlet, even when the inlet water temperature and pipe pressure fluctuate. The electronics automatically adjusts the power of the heating elements to achieve the set water temperature at the outlet (smooth increase or decrease of power). Automatic power adjustment makes the heater a powerful and energy-saving model. Water heating occurs at the moment when water flows through the heater, resulting in energy consumption only during the heating process. Thanks to the use of the heater directly at the draw-off point and short water distribution, thermal losses are eliminated. The flow heater ELÍZ ELX 10 is equipped with a two-stage thermal protection against water overheating with a reset function.
