The DAB.EVOSTA2 40-70/130 1/2" is an electronic circulator pump for wet heating systems and air-conditioning circuits. Its permanent-magnet synchronous motor and frequency converter let it track pressure changes in the system and adjust its output accordingly, keeping power consumption low.

Also suitable as a replacement

The 130 mm installation length and the connection match older three-speed pumps such as the VA series, so the EVOSTA2 is also a good replacement for them. A single model covers heads of 4, 5 and 6 m, which previously required different pumps.

Controls

• a single MODE button on the front panel, three LEDs show the selected setting
• 9 settings: proportional pressure PP1–PP3, constant pressure CP1–CP3 and constant speed I–III
• the vent plug also allows the shaft to be released by hand

Operating conditions

The pump handles clean, chemically neutral liquids free of solid particles and mineral oils, with properties similar to water and no more than 30 % glycol. Liquid temperature can be −10 to +110 °C, operating pressure 1 to 10 bar and ambient temperature up to 40 °C. Install it with the motor shaft horizontal; the arrow on the body shows the flow direction.

Single-phase supply 1 × 230 V, 50/60 Hz. Have the electrical connection made by a qualified person. The pump meets the requirements of the ErP Directive 2009/125/EC.
