Ermetiq ER-MWS705 is a mixing unit for floor heating, which allows precise temperature regulation as well as setting the flow in the secondary circuit. Hot water from the source is mixed with cooler water from the return pipe, thus creating suitable conditions for safe and efficient operation of low-temperature heating systems.

An important component is the flow control valve. It is used for hydraulic balancing, i.e., for setting the amount of water so that heat is distributed evenly, and contributes to higher energy efficiency of the system. The temperature is controlled by a thermostatic valve with a setting range of 20 to 65 °C. An automatic air vent continuously removes air from the system and the thermometer is used to monitor the temperature of the heating water.

The body of the unit is made of brass, which is resistant to corrosion and has a long service life. The unit is compatible with circulation pumps with a mounting length of 130 mm and is suitable for floor heating in single-family homes as well as in commercial buildings.

Application and Installation

The unit is intended for floor heating systems. The primary circuit with the heat source and the secondary circuit with the loops are connected to the 1" connections. When designing, the assembly limits must be observed: the temperature of the primary circuit must not exceed 90 °C and the working pressure 10 bar. The circulation pump is mounted on the 1 1/2" connection and must have a mounting length of 130 mm. After assembly, set the temperature using the thermostatic valve and the flow in the secondary circuits using the flow control valve.
