A GSM module that remotely switches a device connected to a socket (230V, 10A) on or off. The built-in GSM module guarantees easy control via SMS commands or missed-call dialling. It includes a built-in thermometer for measuring temperature, a SIM card slot on the underside, and a switch for manual control or resetting the device

- How exactly does a manual (simple) thermostat work? It measures the temperature at its installation location and, when it drops below the set value, it closes a contact that starts the heat source (boiler, pump, radiator) - once the set temperature is reached, the contact opens again. Unlike programmable thermostats, it has no weekly or daily program; the temperature is set manually with a rotary or slide control.
- Where should the thermostat be placed? In a location that best represents the normal room temperature - away from direct sunlight, draughts, radiators, or other heat/cold sources that could distort the measurement.
- Must installation be done by an electrician? Connecting the thermostat to the electrical circuit of the heat source should be carried out by a person with electrotechnical qualifications, as it involves work on the electrical installation and load switching.
