The electric floor heating mat Hornisse with a heated area of 1 m² is designed for floor heating in a smaller space or only in part of it. The mat has dimensions 0.5 x 2 m, draws a current of 0.7 A at 230 V supply and achieves a power of 150 W. The heating wires are distributed in a carrier mesh, which, after connecting to the power supply, heats evenly over the entire surface. The mat is suitable for use in homes, offices and commercial premises and can be combined with tiles and panels.

Use and installation

The mat is laid directly under the tiles, so the floor heats up quickly after switching on. It will be most useful in the bathroom: the floor is pleasantly warm for bare feet and after showering or washing, the water dries noticeably faster. Never cut or shorten the heating cable and make sure that the individual lines do not cross or overlap. Electrical connection should be carried out by a qualified electrician. The protective tube is used for the floor temperature sensor; the thermostat controls the temperature and is not part of the kit and must be selected separately.
