Qtermo heating mats
Electric underfloor heating mats Qtermo TF 170 have a power of 170 W/m² and a width of 0.5 m. They are produced in 14 sizes from 1 m² to 20 m², so you can choose a mat exactly according to the area you want to heat – from a small bathroom up to a living room. The mat is laid out on a base, when changing direction the mesh is cut and the cable is turned, then it is embedded in adhesive under the tiles or in a thin levelling compound.

What size of Qtermo TF 170 mat should I choose?
The mat is laid only on the free floor area, not under the kitchen unit, bath, shower tray or fixed furniture. Choose the size according to this free area and rather choose a slightly smaller one – the mat must not be cut or overlapped.
Is 170 W/m² enough to heat the whole room?
In a bathroom or in a well-insulated room, the mat is sufficient as the main heat source. In older buildings with higher heat losses, we recommend it rather as a supplementary floor heating.
Do I need a thermostat for the mat?
Yes. The mat is always connected via a floor thermostat with a floor sensor, which is placed between the cable loops. The thermostat monitors the floor temperature and protects the tiles and cable from overheating.
Can I install the mat under floating floor or laminate?
TF 170 mats are intended for use under tile or stone with adhesive or screed. Low-power foil systems are used under laminate and vinyl.
