Code: HO-MAT 2Product detailed description
Hornisse HO-MAT 2 is an electric floor heating mat for an area of 2 m², manufactured in the size 0,5 x 4 m. At a voltage of 230 V, it draws a current of 1,3 A and has a power of 300 W, which corresponds to exactly two square meters at a specific power of 150 W/m². Thin heating wires are fixed in a mesh, which heats evenly when connected to the electrical grid. The mat is suitable for apartments and houses, offices and retail stores and can be laid under tiles as well as under other types of floor surface treatments, for example panels.

Use and installation
The mat is installed directly under the tiles, so the floor heats up very quickly. In the bathroom, it provides warmth under bare feet and accelerates the drying of a wet floor. When laying the mat, make sure that the heating lines do not cross or overlap, and never cut the mat cable. Connecting to the electrical grid should be done by a qualified electrician. The floor temperature sensor is inserted into the flexible protective tube; the temperature is then regulated by a thermostat, which is purchased separately. The exact installation procedure is described in the instructions, which are part of the packaging.
