Procedure: leave water in the body (or pour a little water in), drip on a citric acid solution and let it work for at least 30 minutes. Then try gently turning the cartridge side to side – not pulling it up. To loosen it, you can use a special cartridge puller (cartridge puller), which you can buy for a few euros in a store. Never use pliers on the cartridge stem – you will break it.

The new cartridge leaks – possible causes

If the tap still drips from the spout after replacing the cartridge, check these points: correct orientation of the cartridge (cold/hot side), sufficiently tightened securing nut, clean body without dirt.
