The sensor is a standard immersion type that fits into a thermowell (jímka), so it works with most common heating and solar controllers as long as they accept a compatible sensor signal — just check your controller's spec. The 2m cable is usually enough for a buffer tank, but if your controller is mounted further away, you may need an extension. It handles up to 180°C, so it's fine for most heating applications.
